| Cheesy goodness that is easy to make | |
| 5-6 Medium | Potatoes (Russett, Red, Golden, etc) |
| 3 Tblspn | Butter |
| 3 Tblspn | Flour |
| 1.5 tsp | Salt |
| 1/8 tsp | Pepper |
| 2 cups | Milk (whole milk preferred) |
| 1 cup | Cheddar Cheese, shredded (Cheddar/Jack mimx also works) |
| 1/2 cup | Onion, chopped |
| Directions: |
1) Wash or Peel Potatoes and slice thinly 2) In large saucepan create a rous (melt butter over low heat, add flour, salt and pepper and stir until completely combined) 3) Gradually add milk and bring to a boil 4) Cook for 2 more minutes (or until a bit thickened), remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. 5) Pour into a 2 qt casserole dish, cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour, uncover and bake for for an additional 30-40 minutes (until potatoes are tender). |
