Welcome To Folsom Photo (aka Weise's World)

I created Folsomphoto.com because I enjoy photography and at one point I was hoping to start a hobby website with photo's I took around town.

But, while i enjoy photography still, I never got fully into the hobby so instead this has become a family website...

Posted and back-dated a couple of articles... I went through a period of thinking about posting articles, but never actually getting around to it. Hopefulyl this catches me up and I'll stay on top of it again... Since I've revealed our "Super Secret Activity" to everyone via email, I'll be posting some articles related to that, but not tonight. It's late, I'm tired and tomorrow is Monday   Cry

The other day Christian randomly said "Dad, I really like my life"   Cool

This might seem cute and small, but to me it actually means something. There have been plenty of times when Christian has been having rough patches with his behavior and attitude and during those rough patches amidst his tears admitting he's not behaving correctly he tells me this is why he doesn't like himself... So for him to come around and talk about how good things are going and liking life is a big step.

Christian now plays some football and he's very proud of it... The games are at night so I don't know how well the pictures will turn out, but I'll try to get some and post them soon.

It is with a heavy heart that I write today to let you know that earlier today (Sunday) I made the tough decision to put our beloved Jedi to sleep. This weekend he suffered through multiple seizures and lost the ability to lift his body up with his hind legs. After meeting with the vet and having basic diagnostics done to rule out the easy things, the highly probable culprit was a brain tumor and the prognosis wasn’t good. It was a tough decision, but I know it was also the right decision.

As most of you know, Jedi was nearly 12 years old and lived as a part of our family for 11.5 years, traveling with us whenever possible and we could not have asked for a more loyal pet and family member than he has been. We love him dearly and will miss him.

Rest in Peace, Jedi.

Today was the start of what we're dubbing Christian's Super Secret activity. I know, some of you know about it already, but if you don't then you'll find out about it sometime in March... I will be creating some blogs about it, but I won't post them yet, but at least in March you'll get the full story  Cool
