Welcome To Folsom Photo (aka Weise's World)

I created Folsomphoto.com because I enjoy photography and at one point I was hoping to start a hobby website with photo's I took around town.

But, while i enjoy photography still, I never got fully into the hobby so instead this has become a family website...

So what do you think of this salad --- looks pretty good, healthy, good mix of everything…

Salad

Now what if I told you this is the salad Christian put together for himself to eat at the Round Table Buffet… Pretty good for an 8-year-old.

On Christians bithday, his real b-day, we went with the Estelitas to Kirkwood for a day of skiing. I put Christian in an all day lesson and he had lots of fun. At the end of the day Anthony took him on a run or two down the bunny slope... Christian still needs work.

About a month ago he started talking about wanting a Leopard Gecko, he was going to take all his money in savings and buy the equipment and gecko, but I got him to wait and talked to family about getting that for him for his birthday. He loves it, and it's a great pet for him. He's named her Goldie (yes, I looked up how to tell whether it is a boy or a girl, and it's a girl) and he takes pretty good care of her.

In planning Christian's birthday he really wanted a Pokemon party... Well, the only piece of the party that we would bring from home was his cake and we couldn't find a good Pokemon cake anywhere. That's when I remembered we knew someone from swimming who makes great cakes.

I contacted Beth (Little Delights) and we discussed what could be done and once I settled on a price she came up with an awesome idea/cake!!! I picked the cake up and it turned out to be an amazing work of art - and it was SO heavy!!

We started to celebrate Christians birthday early... I had a couple of gifts he could use before his big day so he opened his first present on Friday before flag football - a pair of receiver gloves... Unfortunately they were way too big so he couldn't use them that night. Then on Saturday morning he opened up tickets for 42nd Street so that when he went to rehearsals at EDMT he could tell the people he knew that would be in the show that he would be there. Finally on Sunday he opened up more broadway tickets --- for Cats! Grandpa got the same tickets so Christian needed to get his too. He loved it all...

For his birthday party this year we went to Sky High Sports - a trampoline palace... They have a bunch of trampolines grouped for bouncing, another group for Dodge Ball plus an area you can do flips into a foam pit. Everyone had lots of fun and exhausting play time!! After bouncing for an hour we had pizza, cake and opened presents... It was a great time.
